This workshop is
always fun. Come and explore with Jerry Konicek how to design and build your woodworking
concept. What is a good design? Bad design? How do you know for sure? How do you make a
terrific concept become reality? Through slides, explore components of a good design.
Learn about design concepts and "tools of the trade" (two-and three-dimensional
ways of representing ideas). You are encouraged to bring design examples as well as
sketches of three assignments given prior to class. The purpose of this workshop is
sharing ideas with others and developing a new thought process for designing your own
projects. TIP: Register early for this class because it is offered only once this
year on Oct. 11, 2002 (Fri).
