| Prerequisites:
Jumpstart I & II This six day class is offered one time per year usually from Dec 28--Jan 1st. Make a professional
quality piece of furniture. Plywood carcass and drawer joinery, mortise and tenon joinery,
Japanese hand plane, paring chisel, pin router, router table, and Soss hinge mounting are
featured techniques. This is not a kit. You will have an opportunity to fabricate all the
parts from rough lumber and hardwood plywood. By the end of this class, you should have a
respectful comfort level with most power tools of the shop and become capable of making
machine setups after a short discussion with the instructor.
Note: Register early
for this class.
This class will be offered only
once, Dec 26th to Dec 31 of 2008. There will be
no JSIV class this Dec, 2007.
