Make a handsome
and functional piece of furniture which can be used in many places in the home. Close
supervision and SAFETY FIRST make this the most important entry-level class offered.
It is perfect for the novices and prospective hobbyists, yet experienced woodworkers will
benefit from working with a Master of Fine Arts instructor in a
well-equipped shop. The class combines lectures with
demonstrations and safety tips for using jigs, fixtures, and
templates. The Jumpstart I class is offered once a month.

Jumpstart Fundamentals II
Prerequisite: Jumpstart I
- A challenging course offered at the WWA for continuing woodworkers. The project is an
educational vehicle for becoming a more successful power tool worker.
Project: Cable Car
4 days $440 + $45 materials/shop fee
Jumpstart Fundamentals III Prerequisite:
Jumpstart I and II-
New 3 day class! Make a slender, elegant table with a figured maple top and curved or
straight tapered legs.
