Jumpstart Method
Jumpstart Fundamentals I begins with a thorough safety and wood technology lecture. The instructor demonstrates all procedures shortly before they are performed by you. Valuable tips are shared for getting better and safer results. In Jumpstart Fundamentals II, again you will learn how to true, square, and dimension lumber but with everyday practice. Most important, every morning you will have participated in discussions on how to prevent mistakes and remakes. To enroll in Jumpstart Fundamentals III, you are expected to know the basic skills using all the machines of a woodworking shop, how to true and dimension rough lumber and work safely. The Jumpstart I class is offered about once a month. The Jumpstart series is a proven method for successful woodworking. This approach works!

Jumpstart Fundamentals II Prerequisite: Jumpstart I - A challenging course offered at the WWA for continuing woodworkers. The project is an educational vehicle for becoming a more successful power tool worker.

4 days $440 + $45 for materials/shop fee

Jumpstart Fundamentals III Prerequisite: Jumpstart I and II- New 3 day class! Make a slender, elegant table with a figured maple top and curved or straight tapered legs.

Jumpstart Fundamentals IV Prerequisite: Jumpstart I and II - Make a professional quality piece of furniture.
