Box I - Box Joinery and

machine two medium size boxes from the six challenging joinery options. This is the most
important box making class offered. It is the preferred prerequisite course for the other
box making classes.
2 DAYS 9:30am to 6:30pm $270 + $45 materials/shop fee
Box II Hardware Installation Prerequisites: Router
I and Jumpstart I - After making a large box, you will mount many types of hinges, lid
supports, locks and pulls into the same lid. For more opportunities, you can cut the
bottom off the box to create a second lid.

"Private Lesson" opportunity.
Bandsaw Boxes and Small
Boxes Prerequisite: Jumpstart I - Make as many boxes as
possible in two days. Also you'll make a variety of very small
boxes such as ring, pen, business card, stamp, change box, etc. Note:
This class is offered only one time this year on Dec. 2-3, 2006 with extra day
Dec 4, so register early.

Jewelry Box Prerequisites:
Box I, Jumpstart I, (Router I, II
& Box II helpful) - This is a new 5
day class. Make an elegant jewelry box with a hinged lid, drawer and tray with dividers
and linings.

will enjoy receiving a finely crafted music box or a jewelry box with many individualized
compartments. Make bandsaw boxes and as many small boxes as you can in two days or take
three days to build a humidor or keeping box. Learn how to design and create your own
special purpose boxes. Gain useful tips for precise hardware mounting and boost your
confidence for shaping small pieces with many shop made safety jigs. Anyone who completes
this series of classes will have hands on experience in most box making techniques. Learn
how to supplement your income by making specialty boxes.
